Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how H&N Interactive ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the TrimTok mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play with the package name com.nishantpardamwar.trimtok.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Your Media Is Processed On-Device
TrimTok's core functionality — video trimming, video editing, GIF creation, audio extraction, and media conversion — is performed entirely on your device. Your videos, audio files, and edited projects are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any server by us. We do not have access to your media files.
Information We Collect
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is ad-supported and displays interstitial, rewarded, and native advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To deliver and measure ads, Google may collect:
- Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID)
- Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
- Approximate geographic region (derived from IP address, country-level)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Rewarded ads are optional — they are only shown when you choose to watch one in exchange for export credits. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, and opt out of ad personalization, in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads). Analytics & Crash Data
We use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Remote Config (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, and app configuration. This data helps us improve the App's stability and user experience. The information collected may include:
- Device type, model, and OS version
- App version and usage patterns (e.g., feature usage events)
- Crash logs and stack traces
- General geographic region (country-level)

Account & Cloud Sync (Optional)
Signing in with a Google account is completely optional. If you choose to sign in, we use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore solely to securely back up, sync, and restore your export credits balance across your devices. No personal videos or media files are ever linked to your account.
Export Credits
Exports consume credits that are stored locally on your device. Credits can be earned free of charge by watching a rewarded advertisement or purchased securely via Google Play. If you optionally sign in with Google, your credit balance is backed up in the cloud.
Notifications
With your permission (Android 13+), the App sends notifications about background export progress and completion. Notification permission is optional; exports work regardless of whether you grant it.
Local Storage
The App stores your projects, sessions, credit balance, and preferences locally on your device using an on-device database (Room) and Android DataStore. This data never leaves your device, except for anonymous analytics events and optional cloud credit sync described above.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification information (unless you choose to sign in with Google to sync credits, in which case standard Google Authentication tokens are used solely for account identification)
- Your videos, photos, or audio files
- Precise location data (GPS)
- Contacts, messages, or other personal files
- Payment or billing details (all in-app transactions are securely handled directly by Google Play)
Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob – advertising (interstitial, rewarded, and native ads)
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config & Authentication) – anonymous diagnostics, app configuration, and optional credit sync
- Google Play Billing – secure in-app purchases and credit pack management

Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain anonymous analytics and crash logs only as long as necessary to maintain and improve the App. For users who optionally sign in with a Google account:
- Your authentication profile and synced credit data are retained in Cloud Firestore only while your account is active.
- You can permanently delete your cloud account and all associated data directly inside the App at any time via Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us via email.
- When requested, your account and Firestore data are permanently and irreversibly deleted immediately.

Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Data Security
We value your trust and strive to protect your information. Because the App processes all media entirely on-device and does not transmit personal data, the risk of exposure of your media is minimal. All anonymous analytics and advertising data is transmitted over secure connections.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
